Cannabis has gone from the counterculture to, well, CULTURE. And, in this case, from Canada to the US. But branding in the industry, with all the tie-dyed head-shop clichés, hasn’t kept up. Actor and filmmaker Seth Rogan’s Houseplant is ONE BOLD MOVE to bring cannabis culture out of the closet and into stylishly decorated homes across the country (at least, in the states where it’s legal).
The brand unites PREMIUM CURATED STRAINS with DESIGN-LED HOME GOODS (and hand-crafted pottery that Seth spins himself) that would fit in comfortably at any well-curated home furnishings store, so we set out to create an online ecommerce experience that is as thoughtfully designed as the products. Taking cues from a coffee table-worthy magazines, and mid-century muses, the editorially-inspired design rides the line between fresh and retro (but not the hippy kind of retro). It presents a fun-but-not-goofy vibe that sets its own trends.
