Building a BRAND — and buzz — for a new kind of COFFEE COMPANY.

Atomo came to us with a BIG opportunity: Help conceive a category-changing coffee brand. Coupled with a BIGGER challenge: Do it all in a month.

REFRESHING A CATEGORY 

Atomo has big ambitions. They aren’t just the latest company to enter the overflowing coffee fray — they’re out to change the world. And they’re doing it with a suite of great-tasting beanless brews made from upcycled date seeds that dramatically reduce carbon emissions and water use while incurring no deforestation. 

Our job was to tell this story in a way that was equal shots credible and compelling. But first we needed to build the brand. Plus the packaging. And we needed to do it fast. 

 

WORKING FASTER, TOGETHER 

With a timeline this tight, we knew we had to work hand-in-hand with Atomo’s key decision-makers. They’d already done some solid thinking around who they are, what they believe and how they planned to brew a brighter future.  

So we dove right in, evolving and adding new chapters to their efforts to craft a brand story that could act as a North Star for all work to follow. That work included creating packaging for three products, along with a logo and visual identity that capture the passion and positivity Atomo embodies. All of this, in one month. 

 

READYING FOR LAUNCH 

With this foundational brand work behind us, we caught our breath, briefly, then hit the ground running to gear up for launch. We started by developing a robust social strategy and cache of posts to fuel the first couple months. Then it was on to experiential activations, creative explorations of how we could build awareness, encourage trial and convince consumers that Atomo is the best-tasting, most sustainable coffee on — and for — the planet.
