Windows 7 on Toshiba Laptop

Hi,
I recently purchased tether but can't seem to get it to work. I have Windows 7 64 bit installed on my laptop. I can launch tether on my BlackBerry but when I click on the shortcut on the laptop the error "could not connect to network adapter" pops up. There is no explanation on how to troubleshoot this issue and when I click on the ok button on my laptop it closes the program on the laptop. I have turned off the WiFi on the laptop and also on my BlackBerry. I connected my BlackBerry via USB. Please advise as to how to fix this issue. I downloaded the software from the links that were included in the email that was sent to me after the purchase.
Thanks!
I'm having a similar problem on my Toshiba laptop. No one seems to have any suggestions. Tether sent me links for a new version they are testing but that is even worse. Can't even install it on my laptop at all. So, good luck. Looks like i am out some cash because from what i understand Tether won't refund.
When installing Tether on your computer are you logged in as an administrator? Or when you ran the installation did you for some odd reason cancel the installer while it was installing the network adapter?
Can you go to your Network Connections and see if there is a Tether Network Adapter?
We offer refunds within 30 days of your order.

I'm having the same problem, and no luck/response from tech support in over 24hrs. This is very disappointing.
Do you show a Tether network adapter? Is it enabled when the software is running?
I do not show a Tether network adapter, and nothing seems to be running. I get the, "could not connect to network adapter" message when opening the Tether.exe file for the first (and subsequent) time.
