With the release of 4G on the Android, the speeds shown in some trade show videos are unbelievably fast. (over 20MB down) It would be a no-brainer to use the 4G Android smart phone tethered as your internet connection. If the bandwidth useage goes unusually high on your smart phone, will Verizon or any other carrier figure it out and shut you down? Or, at worst, try to bill you for the excess from what they would consider normal unlimited use for a smart phone? This is my only concern. I'm not worried with my sucky Boost Blackberry, which is about as fast as dial up. I can't wait to switch to the Droid Bionic.

Tether uses the Smartphone data plan to provide internet to your PC.
Verizon's unlimited data plan is really 5 Gigs per month.
The carrier can charge extra if you go over the 5 Gigs per month but I have not seen any customer complain that they have been charged for over usage.
