ok I asked because I had been seeing that people had been talking like the phone had to be rooted in order for tethering applications to work so I hope your answer means that I phone doesn’t need to rooted with this application,, thanks for help and further help on question

Can anyone suggest a tethering app foe cricket droid service using the huawei ascend on 2.1 OS. I downloades one but it says not supported because phone is not rooted.
