ok I asked because I had been seeing that people had been talking like the phone had to be rooted in order for tethering applications to work so I hope your answer means that I phone doesn’t need to rooted with this application,, thanks for help and further help on question

No the Android does not need to be rooted.
Yes Tether is supported with this configuration.
