I have the code and have tryed to enter it on the phone bit it seems to long. Where do I enter the activation code?
tryn to contact support but it will not work on there website. keeps taking me back to choose an option from the drop down menu.

Has my device password timed out? How do I change/request a new one? It worked 3 months ago, but not now.
Where is Tether asking for a password on the PC or BlackBerry?
If the PC is asking for a password this would be the password you would use to unlock the BlackBerry.
Thanks. The way it happened was perhaps a little unusual. You were correct however, but not with the current password.
I had not synch'd the two devices (PC & Blackberry) for some time. The Blackberry wants frequent changes to the password, so the PC was then looking for a very old Blackberry password that I had long since forgotten. After I had connected to the Internet with the Blackberry connected at the same time, it did update the password to the latest one. Problem solved!

With Tether running and visible, select USB then click the blackberry key and select register.
