I had to switch from Verizon to AT&T because my wife wanted iphone so I got Tour 9700 I entered the code that I have from the download area when I login it said successful code something it showed registered then when i closed tether from BB and open tether again it shows Trial whats up???

I having the same issue! It is driving me crazy. I have "registered" no less than 11 times this morning.
I am running a BB 9700, Windows Vista. Should not be this much trouble. Starting to think about asking for a refund.

I am experience the exact problem as Cline2. Tether on my BB refused to stay registered; must enter registration code every time after I quit.
Tried already rebooting BB. Tried reloading standard version tether.jad ver 1.01. No resolution.
Now trying to run your test ver 1.02 from above link. Still the SAME PROBLEM!!!!! Verified it is ver 1.02 on my BB. Also went to your tether download page to verify that my BB PIN was correctly registered in your database and associated with my registration code.
PLEASE RESOLVE ASAP

Everyone, we just found out there was a slight bug in the registration code process. It should be resolved now. Please update if it doesn't work for you!

I just downloaded the latest test version linked above, 1.1.0.2? Still the same problem, registration code invalid on my blackberry bold.
Please provide solution.

Patrick, I just clicked on the download link of tether from my blackberry browser and it showed my registration number in there. The format was xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx. I tried that and it worked. The software key sent out by swreg only shows xxxxx-xxxxx-xxx, which is short by 2 digits. There must be something wrong there.

I'm assuming you got it to work because I see your account has a PIN associated to it.
I haven't changed carriers and I'm having the same issue. Just sent an email to "Support." Hopefully they'll answer back soon. It's very annoying to have to keep entering in the long code and it's not like you can even copy and paste. :(
