I am having problems accessing my VPN while tethering. Is there some setting that I have to change on the phone to get it to work? If I am connected directly to a wireless network I have no problems. Not sure what would be blocking it except for Tether - since it worked before tether and now it does not. I am also using the basic VPN access through Windows - Microsoft's VPN setup and access.

Not sure since I never had this issue when I was using my Storm 2. Would this be listed in my VPN connection? I am using the standard VPN access that comes with Windows XP. Do you need to know which ports are being used by our server to accept VPN connections - we use ISA 2004 on the server. ISA usually listens on 8080 and the protocols that is being used is PPTP not L2TP.
I am not sure what the port is since this was not an issue with my Storm 2. The VPN program is the standard one that you can setup in Windows XP. Our server does use ISA 2004 to authenticate VPN users using PPTP not L2TP.
I am also having a problem with conecting to my VPN when tethering. Does the port that my VPN is using matter? If so, what port should I be using and how can I change it or see what it is currently. I am using Windows XP platform.
Do you know which ports are being used with your VPN client?
