I have a blackberry storm and it works great with Tetherberry. I just have a problem that every so often it switches from 1XEV or G3 down to just 1X without G3 and the speed is then very slow.
Does anyone know of a way to lock the blackberry storm into keeping the 1XEV signal?

I realize your signal could switch between towers. I am referring to when I am in my home and have a strong signal it will switch to non-3g or just 1X signal for no reason.
lol your smart, theres no way to keep it 1xev or 3g, and if you can, delete your 3g setting... 3g sucks cause theres only a few towers and the service is terrible. i switch from 1xev to 1x all the time just sitting here, it depends what signal i have the very minute

Yes it is worth buying!
There were some issues initially but now we have the stable release fixing the bugs from earlier version.
please tell me that you are joking right, there is not way to you lock your signal. you signal comes from a cell tower and when you move you might loose it or even if the wind picks up
