Trial Software?

Software looks very good, however there's no trial to give it a try.

So far I've had mixed results from all tethering software of this kind I've tried. I wouldn't want to buy it and then find out it won't work.

I'm very interested in this software but without a trial first, I won't buy it.

Just a suggestion.

We are working on putting together a compatibility test for the software so that people can download and install to see if it would work for them or not. In most cases it works without a hitch.

There also is the 30 day money back guarantee that people can use if they think it is not for them.

I really think you should have a trial period. Doesn't have to be long, say a week. You run the risk of someone who wants to tether only for a week getting free SW, but I don't think that is the norm for people with BBs. Either they need this functionality, or not.

But most SW these days offers the ability to make sure it works BEFORE you pay, not buy, and then TRY to get your money back. My 2 cents.

We agree with you 100%. We felt the 30 day money back guarantee was more lucrative to start off to help us raise some capital to continue development for TetherBerry. We also want to try to work out the major bugs before any trial release.

I agree with your business direction and the need for it, but basing my opinion off of your last line I feel that customers that buy in aren't getting a developed product. I do not believe this myself, but just wanted to point out what others might see with it.

Also I thought that for early adoption and support for TetherBerry maybe those users can get something in return. Such as a referral code that allows a friend, family, or co-worker to get a discount down the road.

Just an idea for some sort of "thx"!

Personally I am a try before I buy kind of guy. I wouldn't even look for a 30 day trial, I'd say 10 to 15 days. Look at other app builders for example, most give you a 10 day trial on apps they offer.

I think you have a unique app, but the 30 day money back guarantee doesn't really entice me.

Just my thoughts.

Respectfully,
