I've currently downloaded the trial version and installed the Windows version on a laptop.
I've Installed on a BB 9530. While in the trial mode, does the phone's software pair with the computer? In other words, since I've downloaded the trial to my dad's laptop just to see how the sotware works. Will I now be able to install the same software to my personal computer or will I have to uninstall and reinstall everything? Since eventually after i go through the trial period I'll hopefully want to purchase the software.

You will only need to install the Tether PC client on any PC you want to use Tether. The trial/full registration is handled on the BlackBerry.
