On your PC while holding the Windows key on the keyboard and press the 'R' key. This will open a Run dialog, in this dialog type without quotes 'services.msc' and hit Enter. This will open the Windows Services window, look in this list and see if you have a single Tether service or multiple services.

If you have multiple Tether services (one could be called TetherBerry and the other Tether) please follow these instructions:

1.) Login to your PC as the Administrator or login to an account with Administrative privileges.

2.) Click the Start menu and select run on Windows XP, on Windows Vista and 7 simply click Start then type run into the search and hit the Enter key.

3.) Type cmd into the run dialog and hit enter.

4.) In the prompt type the following four commands without quotes, two may fail but this is ok:

a.) "sc stop tetherberry" and hit enter.
b.) "sc delete tetherberry" and hit enter
c.) "sc stop tether" and hit enter.
d.) "sc delete tether" and hit enter.

Uninstall Tether through Add/Remove programs, reboot your PC (very important), install the Tether for Android setup you have.
