Recycling is nice and all, but reducing is really where it’s at. And when that fails, reusing is the next best option.

Here at Tether, we’ve always been dedicated recyclers. But sometimes we fail below our own standards with the reducing. (We’re an office full of designers and other people who like to make stuff. Sometimes we send things to the printer like an unnamed southern state sends inmates to death row).
But there is hope for us. We took all those condemned sheets of paper and made sketchbooks. (Or “note pads” as the writers call them. Silly writers!) Of course we’ll keep trying to reduce how much paper we use, but now we’re doing a better job of reusing. All that poor, rejected paper lives again as pages that encourage creativity, sandwiched between covers that remind us to Think Before Printing.
