Tetherberry isn't functional for me

I'm on my third update of tetherberry. I've had moderate functionality (connecting to the internet perhaps 1/3 of all attempts) with the first and second version of the program. Tonight I updated again and am not able to connect to the internet at all. Tetherberry notes a connection but does not send packets.

I have rebooted my computer, powered my handset off and done a battery pull, to no avail. I have physically disconnected my cable modem, so there should be no interference there (?). I am on Verizon and did not update any information, as it seemed unnecessary with this carrier?

Can you help me troubleshoot?

What does TetherBerry say on your PC & on your BB?

What OS are you using?

Most people have been able to fix this issue by going into the Device Manager, expanding the Network Adapters and right clicking on the TetherBerry Network adapter and uninstalling it. Make sure to check the remove associated software as well.

Once that is finished, run the installer again and that should fix your problem.

Instead of starting a new post, this was my problem too. This solution didn't work for me. Storm 9500 on ATT, Vista, downloaded the TB version that my computer supported, tried the reboot and battery pull. BB says Connected to PC with USB cable TB says start Tether Berry on the BB, which it is.

My APN is set at enabled and wap.cingular, the ATT number on the website link you provided was 10.250.250.250 or blank. Should I change the wap.cingular. THis may goof up my bootlegged ATT service books?
