Computer...current generation MacBook
Tether versions...1.1.0.7 on BlackBerry Storm (Verizon); 1.1.0.2 on MacBook
Tether indicates packets are being sent almost continuously, though the amount of data being sent in the packets doesn't seem to be very large. Still, it's grinding things to a halt--the connection is virtually unusable. Takes over a minute, for example, to load the exceedingly simple Mozilla start page on my MacBook. Why are so many data packets being sent when I'm not doing anything on my MacBook?
Lots of packets received as well, but again, not much data. As of the time I'm typing this, Tether reports 1200 packets sent (0.114 MB) and 1000 packets received (0.420 MB), but there's just nothing going on. It's crushingly slow. Any ideas?

Do you have a lot of things running in the background on your BlackBerry or computer? It sounds like something you are running which is causing packets to be sent. This could even be a Mac Update running in the background.
Do you happen to be receiving SMS or Phone calls while you're using our service too? Sometimes that disrupts our service.
