I have the full version of tether on my BlackBerry, and the Tether app on my Android 2.1 Tablet. I don't currently have WiFi at my house so I cannot connect my Android Tablet to the internet. Is it possible to run tether on my blackberry, and connect it via USB to my Android Tablet with Tether running on it also, and use the internet from my BlackBerry on my tablet? I've tried it but it don't work.

I'll toss in a +1 for this. I'm looking to get an Android-based tablet in the near future and would like tethering capabilities from by Blackberry like I do with my laptop now.

I have my HTC Inspire techered to my HP Laptop. I just bought an Android tablet and would like to tether it to my HTC Inspire. This doesn't look possible at the moment, but thought I'd see if there has been any change since January.

I have an HTC Desire with Cellular South (my service provider). My provider doesn't support tethering, but I was able to tether my HTC Desire to my laptop using the full Tether for Android App. Recently, I won a new BB PlayBook. I don’t have a WIFI connection, so I was also wondering if it is even possible to tether my HTC Desire to my BB PlayBook without rooting???

At this time Tether does not have any information on how Tether will work with the BlackBerry Playbook once it has been released.

why is it that another company has a public android tablet app that gets internet from the android phone by both bluetooth and usb and we cant get an answer when its available for Tether? If theres something already being tested I will volunteer to beta test for Tether!
Other company has theres available on android market now.
Let me clarify a little. They have an app for the android tablets that allows tethering from your android phone to your tablet. Its beta but working pretty well. Why cant we get this from Tether? I would much rather use Tether than this other company.

Thanks for the eagerness to use Tether for Android Tablets. We are working on it. Also as indirect method to access internet on Android tablet : we are final testing the wi-fi Hotspot feature which will enable tether in making you computer Hotspot so you can use Internet on Android tablet & other device.
Sorry Tether currently does not support Android based PC's.
Tether is looking to add this feature in the near future.
