Is Tether a Memory Hog or is My BB 9550 a Lemon??

99.99% of the time, my BB is COMPLETELY locked up and has been since I installed Tether in April. I hard boot it 2-3 times a day to unlock or unfreeze it. A hard boot does nothing for the memory size.... it used to until I started deleting every single email on the phone. Go figure!!

The ONLY 3rd party app is Tether, all others have been deleted/uninstalled. All media is stored on a memory card and I delete any email with attachments several times a day. I have 0 (zero) bytes available in 'file free' / and 'app memory free space' is also 0 (zero) or 0.0 kb. My device memory total AND free space is 1.8 GB; and my media card total space is 14.8 GB/free space is 14.7 GB.

What is up?? Am I missing something here?? Should I toss the BB out the window on the freeway as I've wanted to countless times before???
