Hi,
I am thinking about purchasing Tetherberry, but it being able to use my GPS on the Bold is just as important as the internet access as I want to use my laptop as a large GPS while on the road with Google Earth/Maps, etc.
Is this possible through Tetherberry?

I have not heard of any app that could use the GPS data from the phone to obtain coordinates for the laptop. I just dont think the phones offer this data as an output. You could buy a BT GPS Puck for less than 1/2 the price of this software if you really need that..
