I just got this email from CrackBerry.com, where I had originally bought Tether...
It says "If you wish to use the new version, you can do so by downloading it from My Account/My Apps"...
I did...and got v1.4.3.7 again...
Either CrackBerry has the wrong download address/app, or the link is wrong...
Where is this new v1.4.5.1???
I, too, get the exact same versions (older versions) on both the desktop and my BB - the BB indicates version 1.4.5.0 and the desktop shows 1.4.3.7 (I think) - I've deleted and uninstalled for each, twice.
What are the current versions for the BB and for the desktop (windows XP)? Other suggestions on how to install them?
Please advise if there is a (or any) bluetooth download for Blackberry (8530) curve model. Also, I am having problems getting my Tether program to work via Bluetooth. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall on both ends to no resolve. I really want to make this work!!
Any solutions or new downloads would be very appreciated!

I have Blackberry Bold 9000 with 3G connection and Motorola Xoom 2 ME (xyboard) with Android 3.2 installed. Can I tether the connection from Blackberry for my Tablet ? To be clear I want to use my blackberry as router (gateway) of my Tablet through Bluetooth, is it possible ? If yes, but there’s any price to pay, It’s not a problem for me, I can pay for solution ;)
Tether currently does not support Android tablets.
We are looking into the possibility of adding this functionality to Tether in the future.

One thing that may help is to uninstall and reinstall Tether on your Blackberry. Could you try uninstalling the Tether Application by following these steps on your Blackberry device:
1) Go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications
2) Highlight the Tether software
3) Press the Blackberry Menu button and select Delete
Once the Tether application has been uninstalled, could you install it again by opening this link through the default BlackBerry Browser:

After reinstalling Tether please test the service to ensure resolution. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
