I recently got a new hard drive on my new Dell XPS. This is a Windows 7 laptop and is only 6 months old. I reinstalled Tether and after that my PC would no longer communicate with my router (ASUS RT-N16). I tried restarting the PC, rebooting and then resetting the router. Nothing worked until I uninstalled Tether, and then I had no problems again.

When I had the problem, the PC and router would establish a connection, but they would not communicate. I could not even log into the router wirelessly. Other PCs in my house without Tether installed had no problems.

Obviously this latest version of Tether has some problems. Please fix this or refund my purchase price.

Hello,

While using Tether you should not be able to use any other type of internet connection, because if you are using Tether you should be connected by Tether. I'm sorry, but you would not establish a connection to your wireless router. When you are not using Tether you should be able to connect to your wireless router.
