The latest Mac beta has the same old problems for me in Snow Leopard as the previous one did in Leopard. Installs fine, connects to BB fine, works for a few seconds, but then throughput stops and the app hangs. If I just ping, it can remain stable for a few minutes, but as soon as I use a browser or even telnet to 80, throughput stops and the app freezes. In some cases the BB also hard crashes, maybe 10% of the time.
Verizon BB 8830, OS 4.5.0.138, fresh battery pull, 5 MB available
Mac OS 10.6, fresh install
BES 4.1, but happens with any connection method

Do you guys have any other interfering BlackBerry applications running on your Mac? Media Sync? Pocket Mac? Unreleased BlackBerry Desktop Manager? Or were any of this software ever installed on your Mac?
The "Failed to Communicate" error means it can't talk to the BlackBerry. This usually happens because another program is loaded and trying to talk to the BlackBerry.
