i recently read an article about the release of the blackbery 2 (odin). in this article it confirmed that the next generation of storms will have wifi. is your software team going to release an update that is going to capitalize on this new tech. i think your current release is great and far exceeds all of my expectations, but curiousity got the best of me.

Our engineers do have plans on integrating this functionality, but it's not in our current scope of work.

Why do you need to have tetherberry running if you are in a wifi spot???? most laptops come with wifi built in now a days.

I believe the OP is referring to other tethering software's ability to share the tethering capabilities via the wifi connection (usually Peer to Peer). The software then becomes platform independent as long as the device that wants to tether has wifi capabilities. Just connect to the blackberry via wifi and BAM! Pretty awesome in action let me tell you! :)
