You are correct about sprint canceling tethering without any advance notice, it was there and then it was gone- but that does not apply to this app- it applies to using their sprint connect app.
I had this happen to me, downloaded the tether trial and - no problems, speed limited to Sprint (about 400k in Ohio).
My sister-in-law is a Nun and does not have DSL or dial-up where she lives- she surfs nightly without problems using tether.

Thank you for your info and experience. I used Teher for those 7 days. Works ok. Slower than Wifi hot spots, but it ie fast connection and I really liked becouse I could use Skype in my car while I am driving... Very handy.
Also 49.99! But I guess I will get it. I travel a lot, so it is really handy on the roaad.
