I'm using a BB Pearl 8130 and Mac Book Pro with OS 10.5. Using the Blue Tooth option I usually don't have any problems, however, at least three times this past week my data sent/packets sent have skyrocketed! I thought initially that it was trying to load the page I was on but after going to other websites I found it wasn't exclusive to one site. On the highest data transfer the Data Sent topped 1200 MB. Help!
Sending too much data!
I've had this happen multiple times as well (also running on Mac OS 10.6) Upload rates go crazy.
I just installed Tether earlier this week, so this represents, I believe, my total activity.
Packets sent: 9248412
Packet rec 471158
Date Sent 721.346
Data rec 376.006
So somethings way outta whack. I am not sure exactly what I was doing each time the upload went wacky, but my stream my have been interrupted by a phone call.
A restart of Tether has always stopped this problem. Others having this too?
I have this same problem too!
There is a known issue on the Mac version where the counter goes "nuts", we are looking into it but the data actually isn't being sent.
If it helps, this seems to happen when tethered and taking a voice call.
I hope this issue gets resolved.
Yes. Please address this problem which seems to be getting worse on my installation, and requires me to restart Tether repeatedly. I think I'll try wiping my install with Amnesia and trying again. Will report if that solves anything.
We appreciate any information you can provide.
I'm still having this issue. Has anyone found any solutions?

It could just be the "Automatic Software Update" kicked in for software checking at Mac side. Depends when your system has ran the check last time, it may just be a coincident.
