When I use TetherBerry and My BB Storm, is the connection a secure one? I'm wanting to do banking and such.

Yes, but I think the OP might have been checking into exactly where their connection goes through and is it secure. So maybe whether or not the traffic is routed through servers you guys manage and are you taking security precautions.
If your doing your banking over and HTTPS connection, then yes it should be. The security with TetherBerry should be treated the same as your security when surfing the web through your home broadband connection.
