I got my trial version renewed as I couldn't get it to work on my 9500 (V5) first time around.
Now I have another issue. When I start tether on the PC/laptop (Both Vista) it prompts me to start Tether on my device. I do this and it shows that Tether is running but I get only the local connection. ie no internet. The License status on my device keeps "checking" without changing to "Trial".
I can see packets being sent but nothing is being received.
Its not to do with other connections running as I don't have any other connections on the PC. (ie WiFi).
When I "View Log" on my device I see the bottom entry shows: "Registration Servers Down" and "Code: 400 Len:36"
Is this maybe where the problem lies?
Any suggestions.
I have a paid-for licence and I get the same thing. Support's suggestion to re-install on the BB made no difference...
