I am a new paying user. When activating Tether on my BB 9700 on T-Mobile USA, I get the above error. If I click past, it says on the status "License: Checking". No packets up or down on the phone so I figure that I am stalled trying to get my license recognized.
I have tried registing by manually entering my registration code, but nothing happens when I hit the "register" button. I don't know what else to try.
I e-mailed support yesterday, but no reply and I am getting frustrated.



Support suggested the below, but same error.
On your BlackBerry click the Options icon and select -> Advanced Options -> TCP and enter the following APN settings if not currently entered into your BlackBerry and try Tether again please.
