upon purchasing the equipment I accidently mispelled my email address, I missed a letter and now cant get my registration code, it says no orders assoicated to this account, what do i DO?

I have been using my tether for 5 days now it is saying. The blackberry device is not registered. I don't understand. So I went to log in and didn't do that right. Says I need reg code. What do I do. I have already paid for the tetherberry.

You should have received the thank you code the day you bought it though.
I have it, i put it in and it says invaild. I think there is a mix up with my account or something. Its like it thinks i'm still on the free trail. maybe I put in 2 different passwords or something but my e-mail is the same and I recieved the thank you. I put it in with the dashes and with out. still nothing.
If you're seeing invalid Registration Code then you're typing it in wrong. We haven't had one registration code fail yet. It has always been a mis-typing problem.
Please verify you are typing it in correctly.
okay so I just downloaded the trial version two days ago and it today I tried using it for the first time and it's asking a reg code. where do I get it from?
You must have opened Tether on your BlackBerry longer then 2 days ago. That's how we enable the trial, as soon as it's opened on your BlackBerry.
You'll need to purchase a copy of Tether to get an registration code.
I've successfully pushed out Tether to my Blackberry via BES and I have the list of registration codes.
However, when I start the app on my phone, it just automatically invalidates me and I have no options to add my code anywhere.
The License says "checking" and the status says "validation failed. please confirm you have valid APN settings set" but when I try to get to some options, the choices are "download pc files" "view log" "call voice mail" "switch application" "close" but nothing about adding my code.

I have been a tether customer for while now and just got a new blackberry. I have entered the registration code dozens of times and it fails everytime. Whats gives? and can the code be re-set and sent to me?

I have tried this for an hour now and nothing works. Paying very close attention to the 1's l's and L's.
Every time a customer has emailed with problems with registration codes it has always been user errors typing in it.
Make sure you are typing it in correclty and that the I is an i not a L or 1. Also S is s not 5.
Is there a way to change your pin with a validation code? My old BB crapped out and I got a new one. PLEASE let me know.
You just enter the same registration code onto your new device.
You just need to enter your old registration code.
I need some assistance. I put in the registration code and press the registration button and nothing happens. I have deleted tether and reloaded a couple of times and same thing happens.

When running Tether, could you copy the "View Log" from your BlackBerry and post it here?
I can't get any further than the registration code page. I can't enter the codes.
So when you enter your registration code you don't see anything at all. The dialog box doesn't even change? Can you try again but give it like 5 minutes to see if it does validate?
It just stays on the registration page and never moves after I enter the code and press registration. Let it run like you suggested and still nothing happened.
It may not be working now because I requested a refund because I couldn't get it working and I just received a email notifying me that my refund has been completed.
The registration code would have been disabled instantly after you requested the refund even though you just received the refund.
I understand that but it did not work and so that's why I requested the refund and I wasn't really getting any assistance from tech support. I previously used the trial and that worked fine but paid version didn't work for me.
The paid version and free version are the same version. Just after a certain amount of days the program prompts for a registration code.
Your best bet is to re-order and try the new registration code that we issue you. If that doesn't work you can request a new refund in 30 days.

I tried changing letters from caps, changing the 0 to an o. There is nothing else that could be mistaken.
Everytime someone has said invalid code, it has always been the user spelling it wrong.
Make sure you're typing it in correct and that the S is an s not a 5.
I will next time it is on sale.

It has been 6 days since I submitted a support request and despite 5 follow up emails and multiple requests to Patrick Hankinson in forums, I have yet to receive any acknowledgement and support. I am at a point where I will contact my credit card company to raise a complaint since I have not received a product that I paid for. I hope this support request is FINALLY acknowledged.
Patrick is swamped with registration issues right now, no one is intentionally ignoring your support needs.
I agree six days and no resolution is not normal and I would be angry also. You could ask for a refund, you will receive it.
I wish I could offer more help, I have been around and occasionally see a user that slips through the cracks so to speak, this is not good as your already having problems with receiving the software you paid for.
There are so many requests for help and no way to know when an answer has been posted (no email support for the forums), so Patrick is running around the forum looking for people to help and simply hasn't seen your request....as for whats going on with the email support I can't speak on as I don't know.

I have tried everything to no avail. I cannot get my registration number to work on my new BB. I have no I or l or L. I have a few s and 5 but I have tried everything. I have also gone to the support page but I have no option to submit anything once I do the pull down menu. I am doing all of this from my BB. I am totally frustrated!
You have to go to tether.com/support and choose "Tether is not working" from the menu, if your using your BlackBerry browser you need to make sure you have javascript enabled in the options.

Hay the server is acting up I am trying to access my code for a possible license transfer. I hope it gets fixed by tonight it says too many redirects.
