I locked the user out, thanks for cleaning it up Patrick.
What a spammer.
No worries.
Any updates on the Android Beta?
I got my X today and would really like to give it a go.
Thanks,
Patrick and Autobot
Patrick,
PDA net (or pdanet) is in the Android Market. You can download it for free, and use the app for free for an introductory time, then after that expires you can still use it with secure sites blocked, or you can then buy the full version for $29.95.
I am evaluating it on my Mac. It will work also on PC's.
Arnie
Just making some final changes to the Android version.
I am also very excited to give it a try.
What will Tether for Android give me that pdanet will not?
Arnie
Tether provides a faster connection to my Android than PDANet in my experiences with PDANet, although I have not recently tried PDANet so this may be less/more of an issue currently.
I am uncertain what features one software offers over the other, others who have used both may be able to chime in.
It would not be a fair comparison as Tether for Android is in beta phase (unfinished) currently, a fair comparison to other tethering software cannot be made until we finalize and release Tether for Android for general consumption.
Hoping its ready soon, ditched my BB.
How soon will you release a bluetooth version of Tether for Android?
At this time we are unsure when it will be available.
But you are working on a Bluetooth option?
I had the BB version of tether and loved it but now I have a Droid Inc and really miss bluetooth tethering.
Please work faster ;)
Yes we are currently working on the Bluetooth version.
Any ETA for the Android Bluetooth???
Sorry Tether currently does not have a time frame.
What is the current version of Tether for Android? I can't connect to my corporate VPN while tethered. Is there a setting that will allow Microsoft or Cisco VPN to connect thru Tether?
What version of Tether are you currently running on your Android?
Which ports are being using when using your VPN client?

Done. Sorry about that!
