8330 Curve running 4.5.0.186 OS. Just updated Tether to 1.1.0.6, BB showed everything working but PC would not receive packets. Tried backdating software and reinstalling but still does not work. Tried with mass storage on/off and wireless on/off in all combinations, no luck. Have always used USB for connection. Help! I really need this as my vehicle is my office!

Having same issue but only one adapter shows. Pc connected to BB and tether running on BB. No packets received or sent. I need to get internet. Please help.

This happened to me because I had an ethernet connection to a local network active on my machine. Unplugged the ethernet cable and it started working fine. Kinda dumb, but oh well.

Interesting! We'll have to do some testing with the local Ethernet and see what happens.
Can you open your network connections on your computer and make sure there is only one Tether network adapter? I'd suggest deleting it, and all the other Tether adapters (if there are multiple) and re-installing.
