Hi All. I am a Javelin owner and I live in Panama. My carrier is Movistar Panama. My APN is internet.movistar.pa - user: movistarpa - password: movistarpa

I've tried connecting and every time I get a failed port error. I really want to connect here in Panama and also take advantage of the 50%off offer. I have 11 friends who are waiting for my succesful connection in order to buy also...

Can you help me here please? I can confirm those are the correct APN, user and password settings. I have tried both with and without authentication on my Blackberry.. No go...

Have your friends download the trial and see if anyone can get it working, or at least try it on more than one BlackBerry.

It could be something strange about your particular phone. I'm sure Patrick will chime in if he can help.

We do not have all the APN settings for every single carrier, there are too many of them.

Your best bet is to call your carrier and ask for the APN Settings. Be sure to ask to see if they charge extra for this usage as well.

I've tried on several phone. APN settings are the correct ones as they were supplied by the carrier...

Could they have it blocked or something?

They could have blocked APN traffic. Some carriers do. Are you always seeing the "Could not find available port error?" or are you seeing something else?

Your carrier must have blocked APN traffic.
