i have this tetherberry operating on my macbook pro.
you dont change any of you setting or your create more problems.
just turn off airport and any other modem or wireless system.
open up tether berry first on the blackberry it will tell you to hook up to your computer.
then open tetherberry on the computer.
a small widow will open look at the status.
you may have to open and close this a couple of times, then it will tell you it needs to shut some
drivers down to operate.you will have to respond yes and it may require your password.

you may have to do this several times,i knw it sounds like a lot of effort but it never works
on the forst few trys.when the dialog box shows active and you see the signal numbers
changer your up and running open your browser and surf.
i wish this device would work without having to repeat these steps over and over.
thanks
chris

Failed to locate server
Please exit and try agai

never does it prompt me to connect to my computer and open tetherberry.

Could it be a permissions on my phone?

It appears your APN settings may not be set.

You will have to find your APN settings specific to your country and carrier, by visiting the following website:
http://www.webmessenger.com/support/APN.jsp

Please be aware that some carriers charge EXTENSIVE fees for APN usage. Use at your own risk!

OK...this makes sense.

I have a mobile rocket stick and the APN is set.

However now, when I click on the tetherberry under my network preferences and then advanced, There is nowhere to input my APN setting.

Can it be put under dns server or something like that or does it have to be APN setting?

Your help is much appreciated.

EDIT***

I realized it was the APN on the phone. I did that. Now it does 'connect' but I get no connectivity.

No sent or received or anyting.
