Is there a viable linux client? Or one planned "for the future"?

Has anyone tried the windows client running under Wine?

It probably wont work unless wine can handle the installation of our network driver.

But please let us know if you try it and it does :)

I don't believe wine can properly emulate all the necessary api calls for a Windows network adapter to function, but by all means don't let this stop you from attempting to install Tether and trying as I am uncertain.
