Internet access shuts off about every five minutes.

I have a Huawei Ascend smartphone from Cricket Wireless, and I am running android 2.1. I currently only have the trial version installed, but I intend on purchasing it. Everything works perfectly fine, but about every five minutes I lose internet access and have to restart tether on my phone and computer, then reconnect via usb. I've been stationary at my house, and I have full 3g network coverage where I'm at. I don't know if this is just a limitation of the trial version or what. I would love to purchase this software, but if I purchase it and I can't stay connected for more than about five minutes, then have to restart everything, it's just going to be a hassle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you In advance.

1.) On your Android click Settings -> Applications and place a check in the box for "Unknown sources" then click Development and place a check in the box next to "USB debugging".

2.) On your Android click Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> click Tether in this list and select Uninstall.

Download and install Tether from the following link please:
http://tether.com/a/tether.apk

I was having the same problem. Everything was checked correctly and i had previously uninstalled and re installed on my laptop I uninstalled on my phone ascend 2 - 2.3.3 and re installed didn't help.
