This would be a very useful addition. I use bluetooth often with VZ Access Manager when I only need to tether for a short period of time or just want the convenience of not connecting to my PC. I sometimes use the cable also to keep the phone charged up during tethering. The nice thing about bluetooth tethering is that I can leave my phone holstered or move my PC around without having the phone dangle from the side on a cable. It is very convenient to have the option to use tethering with or without a USB connection once the phone is paired with my PC. I would be willing to pay a premium for this feature as an added option or "Tetherberry Advanced" version.

TB dev team: are there any updates on a timeline for Bluetooth support?
With this added feature, TB would be the perfect tethering tool. I would use it much much more often while "on the road" if I didn't have to get out an annoying USB cable.
It was way back in March that there was a post saying Bluetooth support would hopefully be "out shortly". In fact, at that time it seemed that Bluetooth support would be out before Mac support, but that didn't turn out to be the case.
Were there many unexpected developmental hurdles or something?

Please keep working on the bluetooth tethering! I will purchase the app as soon as bluetooth is available.
I do a lot of work on the train during my commute and it is infinitely valuable for me not to have to plug my phone directly into the laptop.

Everyone, I tried out our new code for Bluetooth earlier this week on both Mac and PC. It works great.
Before we release it we have some other major announcements and we plan on rolling them all out at once.

I am able to tether Blackberry and Mac using USB. Tethering using Bluetooth allows packets to be sent but I am not receiveing any. Any suggestions on a fix?

Try downloading our update on the phone. Just run Tether on the phone it should ask you to update.

I dont think we should have to pay anymore then we already have. I am sure TB will deliver on their promise to bring a bluetooth version in the coming weeks.
