I have tether for my Blackberry. Do I have to buy tether again if I buy an HTC Incredible?
If I get a Driod, can I transfer my license from my Blackberry?
I would like to know too!! Thinking of switching to EVO. Not Jacking your post just want to be updated if someone decides.
You will have to buy a separate license for the Android, but the pricing will be different then our BlackBerry version.
what if i'm just upgrading from my storm to the storm 2? do i have to get another license?
No, only if you are updating from one phone type to another. eg. BlackBerry to Android.
Well, we have other options for tethering on the Droid. I disagree strongly with your policy of double tapping. Do you really think there are people out there using and BB and Droid simultaneously? I paid full price for a BB license and won't pay double now that I've switched to the Droid. What I WILL do is leave one star reviews where ever I am able.
how do i tranfer from bb to droid connections . i just replaced my bb with droid charge.
Hello,
Your Blackberry license is not transferable to your Android device. You can purchase a license for Tether Android at the following website:
I don't understand why I can't move my license from the Blackberry to my new Android? Just de-activate the BB and activate the Android... I've been using this for over a year on my BB and its great, and I'd like to use it on the Android now...
Unfortunately, my BB died,I would like to transfer license to my new phone LG Vortex Droid. Business handled in this manner is why I'm skeptical about doing online ordering. This could possibly be the reason there's not an actual number or person to contact.
Hello,
Could you email help@tether.com for more assistance please?
REALLY...great way to lose loyal customers like me! I'm not paying twice for an app, that I already paid full price for and back when it was $50 bucks at that! There are other applications out there and cheaper that work great too. I just think it's POOR service to flat out tell a long time customer NO, you can't transfer your license. People change phones on average every 2-3 years and may just change from a BB, iPhone, or Android. Remember, word of mouth and customer reviews is what brings in business...

We haven't decided how we will handle existing users yet.
