if you get a new blackberry ex. if you had a blackberrry curve then you get a blackberry storm would you have to buy the software again

How many times are you allowe to switch devices?
I have a couple of Blackberry's that I switch back and forth, not very often, but several times per year. Reason being is that I work in conctruction during the summer, and don't do much in the winter, so I have a BB that I don't mind getting banged up in construction, but I have a nice one i tke care of too, I sometimes use the nice one when I go on holidays as well, for a week or two.
As for how much I would use tether, well, ask the GF if she will even let me bring the notebook on a holiday :-) I'm lucky I get to take the BB, and even that is supposed to be off. I ussually sneak the notebook, and then ask, How'd that get in there?
Anyways, will this work smoothly? will I just need to enter the Keycode into the other Blackberry, but only one is allowed to connect to the server at a time correct? or does it disable the old pin, and a nightmare to get to work later on that phone?
You can transfer tether to your new device, but it will only work on one device at a time.
