I've used tetherberry (now tether, I guess) for months, and I just switched over to the Droid. I saw there is a beta for the Android, and I can't seem to find out anything about it. I'd really like to participate in the beta, and any information for as to how I could do so would be greatly appreciated.

Top right corner....Says Android Beta. Click on that and type in your info. They will contact you when the Beta is ready.

Sure ther is a link to sign-up for the beta .... BUT there is absolutely not a single word about what the beta is about. Can't you even explain with what devices it is being designed to work?

I'd assume it'll work on any Android device wouldn't it? Why would it be any different then a BlacBerry?

Your correct. It should work on any android.

So far it's only been tested on a Dream on the Rogers network and a Droid on the Verizon network.

It needs a little bit more polishing before I can release it for testing and we are also swamped at the moment from support from the rebrand. So once we are caught up and I get a chance to add a few final touches we will be letting people try it out.

Sorry for the delay.

Yes, it will work with all Android devices.

We hope to release it soon, we had to put all of our development resources back into the BlackBerry version to fix some issues.

Will you be making a WiFi and/or Bluetooth tether option for the Android software?

If I had an option, I would say WiFi, but I'd be happy with either. I, too, am a BB convert to Android ... with a Sprint Hero. I'd be happy to help test for this device ... technology and testing are all part of what I do for a living.

Nice new Drupal site by the way. Who built it? I'm very impressed with the look/feel/theme/

I've made the suggestion about Wifi, but our first beta test will be BT and USB.

Thanks, I was the one who designed the website then had the guys at w3-markup turn the psd into a drupal theme.
