I recently replaced my Blackberry Storm. And although support states the PIN no longer matters and accounts go by registration code, I have tried entering my current registration code in several formats (caps, lower-case, with and without hyphens) and it states "invalid". This is my ONLY access to the internet due to residing in a very rural area and everything is in limbo. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE EXPEDITE MY REQUEST. Thank you

WHERE in the BlackBerry?
I am also having problems connecting.
I have re-downloaded the software both to my laptop and to my BlackBerry. The screen on my laptop continues to say that I need to enter my PIN. Through reading, I see the PIN is no longer necessary, but I cannot find the place to type in my registration code with my BlackBerry.
I first used the Trial, so I assume I need to change this setting but can't figure out where.
Would appreciate some help.
When you run Tether on your BlackBerry beside License does it say registered or trial. If it says registered you've done everything correctly.
If it says Trial, then click on the BlackBerry button to pop up a menu. From this menu, select 'enter registration code'.
I used the free trial and it worked great.
I purchased tether and now I can not get my registration code. My email has been down but now it is working and I never could find my registration code. Tehter has my money but I have no tether. What can I do to fix this?

I loved the trial, so I bought the product.
I loaded the app onto my blackberry Storm, now all I get is "module handle 7720 not found". So, I deleted it from my phone, reloaded the app.. I am still getting message. As far as my laptop, I havent had any problems.. It is just with my blackberry. Yes, I have deleted the app from blackberry, several times, same message.
When you run the app on your BlackBerry can you go to the Menu option and look at the log? Can you write what you are seeing in the log here? Don't think I've encountered this problem yet.
well darn, now it says module handle 4273 not found.. ok for the info you wanted:
nope, it will not even let me open the log.. its like the icon is there, but nothing else.
This may be because you have Tether and TetherBerry on your phone. Can you uninstall them both and then reinstall Tether only?

I used the BB version for 20 months and now purchased the android version. I'm unable to receive a valid activation key for my android version. The support for this company is awful.
I purchased the android version 11 days ago and keep getting resent the key for the BB version.

Your typing in the registration key wrong. Make sure you copy it as-is. Make sure the I is an i not a 1 or L.

This is really upsetting. I have tried to use. For three days and have had to pay a login fee of 13.95 per day at this hotel because you can't figure this.
It sounds like you ordered from Mobihand. You should be able to login to your Mobihand and click on request new serial number.
Ordered from Handmark and they said you would fix it.

There is no registration code for the trial. This means your trial has expired, and you'll need to purchase a copy.

Your registration key shouldn't have a ";" in it.
I just downloaded trial verision tonight and it is requiring a registration code. A co-worker recommended and I would really like to try this out.
hmmm, thinking about this abit more. I am using the old blackberry of the person who recommended tether. they had used tether on the same hardware. the message I am receiving is that i need a registration on THIS phone. my hunch is that it is a hardware issue (kind of).

If you are using an older Blackberry and the previous owner had tether the trial will not work.
That is correct, but if you let us know your BlackBerry PIN we can reset the trial for your device.

It sounds like you have the invalid APN settings for your carrier. Please look in our FAQs page on how to set up your APN.
I just purchased a new phone & I'm having the same problem. I also live in rural area & depend on my Tether. I'm waiting to hear back from Tech support due invalid Reg. #. I just need to Keep it Simple. It should not take days to resolve the issue or hear back with some helpful instructions.
Everytime we deal with a customer who is experiencing this issue it is always they are mis-spelling it. Please triple check you are typing it wrong.

When I attempted to purchase, the web page gave me a message stating that there were errors and the transaction was not processed, please try again later.
I tried again later. 6 times again over the course of a couple of hours with same message. My order could not be processed.
Now there are 6 charges on my account to a total of $179.90 and still cannot retrieve registration code, haven't had it emailed. The "My Account" page says there is no purchase associated with my email address.

Where are you entering your registration code? You must enter it from your new BlackBerry, if on your phone the license is set to Trial.
In every case where people have had problems with their registration code it has always been related to mis-spelling.
Most commonly people type "I" as "L" or "1". The "I" is actually a capital "i".
