Using Motorola Droid and HP Netbook with XP Home.

Getting : Failed to open the tcp input stream:java. net. Socket Exception:socket is closed.

This is the error I get when trying to load internet explorer or fire fox.

The email is working.

Last night I had the same problem. Then web pages started working. But this morning getting the same error on my tether on the phone.

Any suggestions.
Thanks

We're looking into these problems. Once a new fix is released, we will email everyone. Remember it's a beta :)

Thank you Patrick. I think I tried to make this point, that this is a beta test. That's why I brought up this challenge. It seems like some people do not realize what a beta tester does.
Looking forward to the next update.
For your information, I was using the beta version on my vista laptop. It started working in the beginning and then went into the java.net problem. Just for your information.
Thanks Again.
