Hi,

I'm attempting to run TetherBerry (7 day trial) to determine whether it meeds the needs of our fleet. Unfortunately when I run the TetherBerry app on the BlackBerry, it fails with the following:

Attempting a connection
The connection was successful
Trying a connection
Failed to find an available port.
Please exit the application via the menu and try again.
No longer receiving packets

I have attempted to restart the BlackBerry but to no avail. I have selected the BES setting and the BB is provisioned on our BES server. Do we need to change any settings on the BES policies in order to enable this service?

I am using a BlackBerry Bold 9000. WiFi and bluetooth are disabled.

thanks!

Here exactly the same problem. Also with Bold.

Tried all three connection types.

Direct seems most promising. Setup APN for Blackberry Vodafone in NL but here error remains: "Tunnel failed"

Default & BES/MDS initially give "The connection was successful" and then Trying a connection. Then it reports after 20-30 seconds "Failed to find an available port."

How to solve this....?

Tunnel failed means your APN settings are wrong. Please visit the following website: http://www.webmessenger.com/support/APN.jsp
