I was using tetherberry for about an hour today where of course I didnt have wifi. It was running fine, and unhooked it after use.
Well , on my blackberry, my network was on "edge" all day after use of tetherberry... meaning I couldnt get ANY data, until I called support and they told me to pull the battery.. I now have EDGE back and data.
Will I have to do a battery pull everytime after using tetherberry?? That doesnt seem right that it caused my network to have "edge" instead of EDGE for the rest of the day...
you can get around pulling the battery by going to your mobile network in settings.. there you will see Data Services... Click to off.. wait a sec then click it back to on... you should get your EDGE back.. I am on VZW but ever time i Lose my 1XEV.. that is what i do and it works like a charm.. Good Luck.
