Why is desktop manager required to be installed? I found the Blackberry drivers for my Tour on my desktop where the Desktop manager is installed. I used the drivers on my laptop but for some reason when I launch the tetherberry software I get this error. USBClient Error. Invalid Pointer

You don't need the desktop manager. You just need the BlackBerry USB and Modem Drivers.
Here is what I did on my Tour on Sprint network.
1. Installed BlackBerry USB and Modem Drivers. Can you downloaded on blackberry website (https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E...)
2. Installed TetherBerry on your PC.
3. Installed the TetherBerry on my Blackberry Tour
And it worked!!!!
