I'm not extremely worried about the initial cost of this great application, but how about helping out those of us that upgrade our phones pretty often? Would it be possible to have a license that lasts up to 2-years, during which time it is transferable to any phone that you purchase. Then after the 2-years is up you would have to keep using the phone that you last registered it on or buy a new license. This would be a fair way to charge us users as apposed to requiring a new license every time a new Blackberry is purchased. Even a year trial for switching phones would be better than nothing. Read the forum posts a little more in detail and you will see that they have stated their position on this. While the FAQ does say $10 look at the replies from the admins and you will see there are alternatives.
The $10 is protection against abuse of this useful application.
I would hope they'd transfer the license just like many other Palm/BB/etc. developers do. You'd contact them with your new PIN and they would make the necessary changes.
