Correct instalatation in PC and BB but nothing happen: no connection

I have done everything as sugested:

* Download the latest USB drivers
* Install the Tetherberry App on the PC
* Download the BB App
* Start the PC app
* Connect the usb cable
* Start the BB App

However I still can't establish a connection.
When everyting is connected and start the app on the BB, nothing happens. Just a blank screen with the tetherberry logo.

Can somebody help me please?

I have a 4.5 Curve 8300 and a Latitude D610 with XP sp2

‹ system requirements? Cant Get TetherBerry to work for me either ›

Which carrier are you with? Do they need APN settings?

Also which version is your BlackBerry OS? 4.5.0.x?

I'm in Entel PCS (Chile)

My OS is 4.5.0.37

There is an issue with OS versions below 4.5.0.83. Is there any way you can upgrade this?

So it will not work with my current OS?

Now I'm using a VPN and the app -at least- responds.

Initially start a connection, but then the BB shows "Could't write in receive:java.io.IOException"

You will need to update the OS on your phone so that it can start functioning properly.
