connectivity fails after 1.1.0.6 upgrade

I was using 1.1.0.4 on both my phone and desktop up until earlier this week when I saw the new version out. I have updated both and now I'm having issues with the systems stopping data flow. I launch on phone and PC, data connection is there, I can surf and do things for a few minutes and while the tether monitor says it's still running the bytes no longer change and I can't get any sites. If I try to exit the software on the PC side it won't properly close and I have to end task with task manager. I was going to try and go back to 1.1.0.4 but I don't have those files anymore. Does anyone have the old version, or any suggestions for my problem? Thanks.

Log files on the phone give no indication of failure.

I am having the same problem with the latest version on a mac.

surf for a couple mins and then nothing..

any ideas what we are doing wrong?

I can provide you with links to the older software if you believe the update has caused the issue your experiencing, note that you will be asked to update on your BlackBerry each time you launch Tether...select No.

Could you uninstall Tether by following these steps from your BlackBerry Smartphone:

1) Click Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications

2) Highlight the Tether in the list of applications

3) Press the BlackBerry Menu button

4) Select Delete

5) Remove battery from your BlackBerry for one minute, replace battery and let device boot

Once the Tether application has been uninstalled and your device has rebooted, install Tether again by visiting one of the following backup links through the default BlackBerry Browser:

Tether for BlackBerry (version 1.1.0.2) = http://tether.com/t/backups/1.1.0.2/tether.jad

Tether for BlackBerry (version 1.1.0.4) = http://tether.com/t/backups/1.1.0.4/tether.jad
