I'm not able to get the internet connected lately on my PC to my BB 8330. it connects tetherberry and packets and data go out, but nothing comes in. so no internet. any suggestions? PC with vista. it worked before

Verizon Blackberry 8330 - NO GO - Same thing as other posts. Will keep reading the forums. First time installing so maybe I am doing something wrong.
I'm on a storm and get the same issue now at least once a day. After a bunch of troubleshooting and reinstalling, etc., I'm convinced it's server-side.
Sometimes I cannot access the web but other services still work (DNS server error maybe?), and other times I have no internet at all. (Last night web went down randomly but when I re-connected this afternoon it's now back - no other changes, not even a reboot).
I've been a happy customer since launch, but it seems to be getting much more unstable day after day.

I've been complaining about this for weeks via these forums and through their "support system" with nary a response or suggestion.
Some days the app will fire up every time, but in most cases, I get this same thing that you guys have been describing.
Extremely annoying and frustrating.
I get no internet but it connects. I can send packets but cannot receive them. The program worked for me fine for like the first 2 months it was out but now it only works like every three days.
I got into similar problem a couple days ago. I was not sure what exactly caused it. Before the problem occurred I have changed my computer's proxy for unrelated reasons and I have just updated Blackberry storm to a newer firmware the previous day. I was able to fix the problem after doing a few things.
1. reboot the computer
2. do a battery pull of the blackberry
3. in Internet Options -> Connections -> Lan -> check automatically detect settings
I have since checked the internet connection several times over 12 hours period and it worked fine.
I also started out with the same problem of sending but receiving no packets. Vista was somehow convinced that there were about half a dozen LANs with limited connectivity connected to my computer. Once I disabled all these and followed someone else's suggestion of doing things in a certain order (starting TB on computer then plugging BB into computer (mass storage ON), and starting TB on BB)everything worked fine. Hope this helps!
Its down again...sigh. Thanks for the suggestions but have tried them all to no avail.
Same thing here with my Curve 8330 and Verizon. It fires up and sometimes works for 2 hours without issue, and sometimes 5 minutes before freezing. Support had me install a new Beta version on my phone yesterday and the problem is still the same if not a little worse.
Please try restarting your computer and doing a battery pull on your phone. You may think this won't do anything, but you will be surprised.
same thing happening to me.. been using this fine sine the beta. once or twice a month it won't connect. packets go out, won't come in. yes I have rebooted my computer and did a battery pull on my BB like 50 times. is it just a server issue? 2nd day it's not working now.
I read on one of the sticky's that it could be a DNS issue, maybe try the DNS fix? Any other ideas?
i'll update and let you all know if it worked.
