After rigorously attempting to do the bluetooth and enter APN's and other program setup provided from blackberry in using any type blackberry as a modem, Only Tether was all that it said it was and can do in one simple easy step by step install. Simple, easy and precise and no lost connection and one other plus this application presents, you do not have to set up manual ports or localhost in your browser, as well as all other softwares that depend on internet connection protocols. I also tried a program, " Shark Modem " and no ill intent, but it just could not stay connected. I love applications, but I am a try first, complete results second, and if it does as it's programmed, then I do not want to try it any further...I just buy it. Great application, especially if you have Boostmobile as your carrier, cause they offer no advise or modem subscription for the blackberry 8530 or any other model. It has my blessings...

First install, perfect connection..hassle free..all my internet dependent softwares and programs work perfectly and the connection speeds are very good and quick. I installed this on my laptop, and I have comcast high speed internet, and the connection speed with both tether and direct were the same. This works for me and I recommend it highly for all BoostMobile blackberry phone subscribers.....
