Senior Recruiter

Tether is seeking a Senior Recruiter looking to leverage and expand their skills in a role that directly impacts the people, culture and operations of a creative studio. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire contract covering a wide range of responsibilities, from hiring for a multidiscipline Studio, operational tasks, HR and much more. Intrigued?   • Degree in business, communications or equivalent recruiting experience
  • 4-7+ years experience working in a professional environment, preferably in the creative industry


  • Professional experience managing full life-cycle recruiting
  • Able to understand and source for a wide range of positions
  • Adept at working with multiple hiring managers and accurately capturing their hiring needs and objectives
  • Proven experience developing and fostering relationships
  • Exceptional customer service skills with high level of responsiveness
  • Open to learning and taking on new projects with positivity and empathy
  • Able to thrive in an ever-changing environment and get your hands dirty
  • Able to manage personnel matters with extreme sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Able to work both independently, as well as collaboratively within a nimble Operations team
  • Able to be a proactive self-starter, identifying problems and initiating solutions independently
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humor
  • Working knowledge of HR and benefits coordination and administration is a plus
  • Professional knowledge of MAC OS and proficiency with the Office software, working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required



  • Manage all recruiting efforts including: sourcing/screening candidates, partnering with managers to scope staffing needs, manage the interviewing process, manage offers and the on-boarding process for new hires and contractors
  • Represent Tether as the first point of contact and ensure a positive experience throughout the recruiting and hiring process
  • Continually be well-networked in the industry and participate in recruiting/school and/or industry events where Tether could benefit from being represented
  • Understand and be aware of business and employee operational needs and how the two integrate
  • Strive to meet, if not exceed expectations


  • Be a trusted resource for employees and bridge topics between employees and management
  • Continue to establish and grow relationships with employees beyond the hiring phase and be viewed as a trusted employee advocate
  • Possess some knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Understand and be aware of all Tether benefits, policies and HR services
  • Have an understanding of the business needs as they pertain to insurance, risk management, and multiple studio locations
  • Actively suggest ideas on enhancements based on on-going employee conversations and learnings from the recruiting process
  • Support the overall flow of HR operations
  • Ensure the accuracy of all employee information and benefit enrollments and provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
  • Stay abreast of benefit trends and changes in the industry and be current with evolving HR laws and policies
  • Oversee on-boarding training for new hires and off-boarding for exiting employees
  • Back up the Studio/HR Coordinator on all benefits administration enrollment and termination tasks, as needed


  • Provide general administrative support for a variety of projects and requests
  • Help own or support small and large team events
  • Support the day-to-day studio functions, as needed, ensuring things are running as smoothly and efficiently as possible
  • Independently manage various projects or initiatives that impact the greater Studio and/or employees
